If you’re looking for an indoor place where your toddler can run, play, and burn off some energy, Pororo Theme Park Dasan is worth considering—especially if you live in the Seoul or Gyeonggi area and have access to a car.
I visited with my 21-month-old toddler on a weekday with a friend and her child, and I was honestly surprised by how much there was to do.
There were plenty of play areas for different ages, along with a Pororo show, rides, slides, and spaces designed for younger children.
One important note, though: I wouldn’t recommend this location as a convenient day trip for tourists staying in central Seoul. There isn’t a subway station nearby, so getting there by public transportation can be inconvenient. If you have a car, however, the visit becomes much easier—and parking is free for up to four hours.
Here’s what I found most useful as a parent visiting with a young toddler.

🚗 Is Pororo Theme Park Dasan easy to get to?
This is probably the biggest thing to know before planning your visit.
It’s much easier by car.
There isn’t a subway station close to the park, so I wouldn’t choose this as my first option if I were a tourist staying in central Seoul and relying on public transportation.
For families living in Seoul or Gyeonggi-do with a car, though, the location is much more manageable. The four hours of free parking was also a big plus for us.
💰 Weekday AFTER 3 Discount: A Great Deal
We visited on a weekday and took advantage of the AFTER 3 discount, which made the admission surprisingly affordable.
The AFTER 3 discount is also available on weekends, but the child admission price is 2,000 KRW higher on weekends.
So if your schedule is flexible, a weekday afternoon visit can be a particularly good option.
🧦 Don’t Forget Your Socks!
This is a small detail, but an important one:
Both children and adults are required to wear socks inside the park.
If you forget them, you can buy socks at the entrance—but I’d definitely recommend bringing a pair for everyone in your family.
It’s one of those things that’s easy to forget when you’re packing for a day out with a toddler!
🐧 16 Different Areas to Explore
According to the official website, Pororo Theme Park Dasan has 16 different areas.
Around 11 are free play areas where children can run around and play, while two are rest areas and three are additional paid attractions.
That means there’s already plenty to do with the basic admission—you don’t necessarily need to add the paid experiences to keep your child entertained.
One thing I particularly liked was the range of activities for different ages.
There were areas that looked suitable for very young children, while older kids had larger and more active spaces to enjoy.
So if you have children of different ages, this could be a convenient place where everyone can find something to do.
⭐ What Did My 21-Month-Old Like the Most?
There was so much to see that my toddler practically didn’t know where to go first. 😂
But if I had to rank the four things my child enjoyed the most:

Here’s what made each one special for us.
🥇 1. The Pororo Show: Surprisingly Captivating!
The biggest surprise of the day was definitely the Pororo show.
I don’t remember the exact storyline, but I believe the characters were looking for a lost treasure box.
What surprised me most wasn’t even the story—it was my toddler’s reaction.
At home, my 21-month-old rarely sits still for even ten seconds. But during the show, my child sat there completely focused.
Eyes on the stage.
No running around.
No trying to leave.
I honestly couldn’t believe it. 😂
And, I’ll admit, having a few peaceful minutes while my toddler was completely absorbed in the show was pretty nice for me, too.
The show schedule changes from day to day, so check the schedule posted at the park as soon as you arrive.
The theater is located toward the back of the park, next to the roller-skating area.
🥈2. Pororo Train 🚂
The Pororo Train was another big hit.
Again, we didn’t have to wait because we visited on a weekday.
For younger children who love trains—or simply love Pororo—this is an easy one to get excited about.
If you’re visiting on a weekend, I’d consider trying the popular rides earlier rather than later to avoid longer lines.
🛝 🥉3. Giant Slide at Charles Zone
The Giant Slide at Charles Zone looked like so much fun, but at 21 months, my toddler wasn’t quite ready to ride it alone.
So my husband went down with our child.
And apparently once was not enough. 😂
My toddler loved going up and down so much that they kept wanting to do it again.
Meanwhile, Dad was eventually begging:
“Can we please stop now?”
So, yes—the slide was a hit.
Just keep in mind that younger toddlers may need to ride with a parent.
🧗 What Was Still a Little Too Advanced for Us?
The Trampoline Zone and Adventure Zone were both quite large and looked like a lot of fun.
However, for my 21-month-old, they seemed a little too advanced.
That’s actually one of the nice things about a large indoor theme park like this: you don’t have to use every attraction.
There were plenty of areas where my toddler could play comfortably while older children could enjoy the more challenging activities.
👶 Baby-Friendly Facilities
If you’re visiting with a baby or young toddler, you’ll also appreciate the facilities for parents.
The park has:
- A nursing room
- Diaper-changing stations
- Bedding for naps
- A microwave
- Children’s tableware
Having these facilities available makes a big difference when you’re spending several hours at an indoor play space with a young child.
🍽️ You Can Eat Inside the Park
We had lunch before coming to the park, but there is also a dining area inside.
So if you’re planning to stay for several hours, you can potentially take care of meals without leaving the park.
Is Pororo Theme Park Dasan Worth Visiting?
For us, yes.
The biggest advantage was simply the variety. There was so much for my toddler to explore that we never really ran out of things to do.
I also liked that the park caters to a fairly wide age range. If you have children of different ages, there’s a good chance they can all find something enjoyable.
For a 21-month-old, my personal highlights were definitely the Pororo show, Candy Land Tour Car, Pororo Train, and Giant Slide.

- You have access to a car
- You’re looking for an indoor activity with young children
- Your child enjoys Pororo or character-themed attractions
- You have children of different ages
🤔 I would think twice if:
- You’re visiting Seoul as a tourist
- You’re relying entirely on public transportation
- Your accommodation is in central Seoul and you want a quick, convenient outing
For tourists without a car, I’d probably choose an indoor children’s attraction that’s easier to reach by subway.
But if you’re a family living in Korea and looking for a full afternoon of indoor play, Pororo Theme Park Dasan is definitely one to consider.
