Three Cakes I Tried at Wevave Bake Shop

One of the best parts of visiting a bakery with friends is being able to try different desserts instead of choosing just one flavor.
For this visit, we picked three cakes with noticeably different flavor profiles. The Peach Yogurt Cheesecake offered a refreshing combination of yogurt and cheese, the Ferrero Rocher Cake was my personal favorite, and the Raspberry Chocolate Gâteau was ideal for anyone who enjoys rich chocolate desserts with a fruity touch.
Here is what I thought of each one.
1. Peach Yogurt Cheesecake | ₩9,000
The Peach Yogurt Cheesecake was a delicious combination of smooth yogurt and rich, savory cheesecake flavors.
What I particularly liked was the balance between the creamy cheese and the refreshing tanginess of the yogurt. Although it was a sweet dessert, the fresh yogurt flavor kept it from feeling too heavy.
If you prefer soft, creamy desserts with a little brightness, this is a flavor worth considering. I think it would be especially appealing on a day when you want something refreshing rather than an intensely chocolatey cake.
At ₩9,000, it was the most expensive of the three cakes we tried. If you enjoy yogurt-based desserts and cheesecake, this could be a good option to look for at the bakery.
My impression: A creamy, refreshing cake with a pleasant balance of cheese and yogurt.
2. Ferrero Rocher Cake | ₩8,500
My personal favorite! 🏆
Of the three cakes, the Ferrero Rocher Cake was my favorite.
It had the sweet, rich chocolate flavor that makes this type of dessert so appealing. Sometimes, a familiar flavor combination is exactly what you want, and this cake delivered that kind of satisfying chocolate experience.
You know that feeling when something tastes just as good as you hoped it would? That was my experience with this one.
I also think it pairs particularly well with coffee. The sweetness of the cake and the slightly bitter flavor of coffee complement each other, making them a lovely combination for an afternoon dessert break.
If you enjoy chocolate desserts and regularly order coffee with your cake, this would be my first recommendation among the three options we tried.
At ₩8,500, it was ₩500 less than the Peach Yogurt Cheesecake.
My impression: A rich, sweet chocolate cake and my top pick from this visit.
3. Raspberry Chocolate Gâteau | ₩8,000
The Raspberry Chocolate Gâteau was another interesting choice, especially if you enjoy desserts with a deep chocolate flavor.
Its texture reminded me more of a brownie than a light, airy sponge cake. The chocolate felt dense and rich, giving each bite a more substantial texture.
What made the cake work well was the raspberry cream on top. Its fruity tanginess helped balance the heavier chocolate flavor, so the dessert was not simply sweet and chocolatey from beginning to end.
I liked the combination of rich chocolate and refreshing raspberry. If you enjoy intense chocolate desserts but sometimes find desserts that are overwhelmingly sweet a little too much, this is a flavor combination worth looking for.
At ₩8,000, it was the least expensive of the three cakes we tried.
My impression: A dense, brownie-like chocolate cake balanced by the tanginess of raspberry cream.

Cake Prices at Wevave Bake Shop
Here is a quick comparison of the three cakes from my visit.
| Cake | Price | My impression |
|---|---|---|
| Peach Yogurt Cheesecake | ₩9,000 | Creamy and refreshing |
| Ferrero Rocher Cake | ₩8,500 | Rich chocolate; my favorite |
| Raspberry Chocolate Gâteau | ₩8,000 | Dense chocolate with tangy raspberry |
The total for all three cakes would be ₩25,500, based on the individual prices above.
If you are visiting with friends, choosing different flavors is a great way to compare desserts and discover which style you prefer. You could go for a refreshing cheesecake, a classic chocolate option, or a denser gâteau with a fruity contrast.
Please note that these are the prices of the cakes I tried during my visit. Prices and available flavors may change.
Which Cake Should You Try?
Not sure which cake to choose? Here is how I would narrow it down based on my experience.
Choose the Peach Yogurt Cheesecake if:
- You enjoy creamy cheesecake.
- You prefer a refreshing yogurt flavor.
- You want something that feels lighter than a rich chocolate dessert.
Choose the Ferrero Rocher Cake if:
- You love rich, sweet chocolate flavors.
- You enjoy pairing cake with coffee.
- You want my personal favorite from this visit.
Choose the Raspberry Chocolate Gâteau if:
- You enjoy dense, brownie-like chocolate textures.
- You like the combination of chocolate and berries.
- You prefer a fruity contrast to rich chocolate.
My personal winner was the Ferrero Rocher Cake, especially because I enjoy the combination of chocolate and coffee. However, if you prefer fruitier flavors, the Peach Yogurt Cheesecake or Raspberry Chocolate Gâteau may be more appealing to you.
